About the event
Explore how even small actions placed in a story can develop a character or reveal the heart of the narrator. We will be inspired by examples of powerful descriptive writing and will use those examples as writing prompts. Following the WCC exploratory writing methodology, we will explore each authentic voice, listen deeply, and respond to others. The workshop will help to generate new ideas, surface what's inside you, and get you thinking about ways to be more creative in description.
The workshop is suitable for experienced writers, new/emerging writers and the writing-curious! No experience is required and everyone is welcome.
Be sure to bring pen and paper with you. Coffee, tea and cookies will be available.
Even though the event is free, please be considerate of this seat. If you are unable to attend, kindly inform Lena as least 48 hours prior, so we can cancel your seat and give…
