Collaborate on an Artwork
2024 Governor General Award Laureate for Fine Craft, Louise Lemieux Bérubé, invites you to participate in a collaborative art project.
"I dream of being a tree," 2021, is a large tapestry installation featuring woven images and embroidered texts.
Participation is FREE for OIW members.
Join the artist as she discusses the artwork. You will then have the chance to submit a short text to Louise for inclusion in the artwork. Up to six texts will be chosen. Louise will create two embroidered versions of the text, one to be added to the artwork (for a future installation) and one for the author of the text.
