About the event

What could be better than spending an evening with fellow authors, playwrights, poets and lexicon champs? 

OIW invites members to join us at the annual Holiday Party to meet each other, share stories, and perhaps correct some spelling as well.

The highlight of the evening will be the Poetry Contest, after which you will get to vote on your favorite!  Bring your friends and family as well!

An irresistable array of soup, salads, sandwiches, and delicious desserts are included. A cash bar will be available. The menu has vegan, dairy-free, and gluten-free options as well. The venue is accessibile and parking is  free!

Need Christmas presents? The latest anthology "Connections" will be on sale, along with tote bags.

We've thought of everything, leaving you to figure out your outfit for the evening. Or sweater. Or tie. Or feathered hat.
